3DS Goes Gold With New Zelda Bundle

With the usual dry spell of summer over for the video game industry, the gloves are finally coming off as per tradition for the upcoming holiday season. It’s always fun to people engage in the game of one-upping the other as we get blitzed with holiday ads of every kind and shape. Sure, it’s a little aggravating in being bombarded with ads, but there’s no better time to get some of the best deals on video games and video game accessories.

Nintendo today upped the ante with a brand new bundle that we’ve been anticipating for quite some time. Announcing the Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds 3DS XL bundle, fans that have been clamoring for a Zelda themed console/handheld will finally be able to score the latest iteration since the N64 days. As always, the bundle will also come with a digital copy of A Link Between Worlds and will only cost you a very cool sum of $219 bucks.

The game is set many years after within the world of A Link to the Past. Link has to journey between the two worlds of Hyrule and Lorule, a dark, parallel dimension of Hyrule, using a mysterious power that allows him to become a drawing on walls. Utilizing this new power, Link will be able to solve puzzles and explore dungeons in a new way. Not only that, a new feature included is the ability to buy or rent various items throughout the game allowing you to tackle any dungeon you want. Thus allowing a more free world experience without being constrained to follow the Zelda dungeon formula and go at your own pace.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and the bundle itself will be available November 22nd.  The game by itself will be $39.99.
