POTENTIAL SPOILERS IN THIS POST
Irrational Games has announced some awesome news about the promised DLC for BioShock Infinite.
The first add-on pack to be released is titled Clash in the Clouds. It is essentially a glorified arena mode that emphasizes Infinite‘s combat. The player will revisit Columbia and take on a variety of challenges in four maps. Completing the challenges will unlock a few goodies like concept art, new voxophones, and more behind the scenes goodies. Clash in the Clouds is set to release starting today and will cost $4.99.
The bigger/more exciting announcement is that the second and third DLC packs, titled Burial at Sea, will be a two-part detective story taking place in Rapture at the end of 1958. That’s right, players can expect to return to the more aquatic utopia just before the entire place turned crazy. The DLC will star the dynamic duo from the main game however fans may be super excited (super upset?) to know that Elizabeth will be a playable character for the second episode. Fans can expect the trademark storytelling of the series as they explore Rapture at the height of its prosperity. The first part of Burial at Sea is set to release sometime later this year, with the second part coming out later down the line, costing $15 for each episode.
All of this DLC is included in the Season Pass that you can purchase for $19.99. For more information you can check out BioShock Infinite’s official site, also Eurogamer has a great article up along with an interview with creative director, Ken Levine.
On August 11th, alongside Mario & Luigi: Dream Team there will be another Nintendo product coming out that day! The newest color for Nintendo 3DS XL will be coming out, classy, classy, black. What do you think of the new slick look? Don’t like this color, or shade? Well there are still the other 3DS XL colors that are already out: blue, red, and pink.
Now a little note from me: If you haven’t already upgraded your 3DS to a 3DS XL you are truly missing out in my opinion. A lot of you guys know I have both a regular American 3DS, and an LL (XL) Japanese 3DS and I love the size increase so much. I feel like I am getting so much more of the picture, it’s easier on my eyes, and it’s feels like it’s just as light as the 3DS. That 90% size increase does WONDERS! If you don’t believe me, play a game, any game on your friend’s 3DS XL and tell me your thoughts.

With PAX Prime and Gamescom respectively drawing near, new details are slowly being leaked into the jungle known as the internet to get us hyped for their appearances. This time, Sony is the one leading the hype train in an effort to one-up Microsoft’s earlier announcement.
Presented by PlayStation Access, they’ll be taking ten questions left on their Youtube channel by fans and answering them in a follow-up video, repeating the process until the launch of the PS4. This is without a doubt one of the best ways to build hype and interest in your yet-to-debut product. While we can expect some of the elephant in the room-esque questions to not be answered, we can, however, expect general questions every fan has to be answered.
This move by Sony will undoubtedly force Microsoft to respond in kind. As you know, competition is a healthy thing for everyone which means better things for everyone. While complacency is good at times, it also means we won’t be challenged to be as innovative if you’re the only kid in town.
Your move Microsoft.
